Greta Pedersen

Greta Pedersen photoNamed 2009 National Artist of the Year by Young Audiences, Greta is an inspiring and versatile vocal coach, songwriter and music educator. As a performer, she is at ease in a variety of styles and settings: from night clubs to schools, and concert halls to amphitheaters and arts festivals. She has performed across the United States and in Europe.

Her award-winning music for children, families and teachers is licensed to video soundtracks and publishing projects, including Scholastic's Circle Time series and  She is CFO of Accent On Music, LLC, which she co-founded with her husband, Mark Hanson.

Greta teaches lessons in voice, piano, music theory, sight reading and performance techniques in her studio in West Linn, Oregon, and via Skype. She also offers engaging and interactive programs for schools, libraries and family-oriented events.
